My name is Deven Smith, a multidisciplinary artist based in Denver, Colorado, working across tattooing, photography, and design. I grew up in Telluride surrounded by art, music, and a community where creativity felt like second nature. From an early age I was drawing, building, and experimenting. Visual art has always been how I process the world.
I work full time as a tattoo artist, located at Illustrative Studios, blending clean linework with surreal, nostalgic, and graphic elements. My style pulls from vintage cartoons, alternative subcultures, and bold symbolism, with a focus on pieces that feel both fresh and timeless. I also shoot and design, bringing that same eye into editorial photography, concept driven visuals, and raw but intentional work.
